Incheon Technopark Launches Consulting Program to Support Future Mobility Technology Transition for Automotive Parts Manufacturers
2025.12.05Incheon Technopark (President Jooho Lee) announced on the 8th that it has officially launched a consulting program designed to help automotive parts companies adapt to the rapidly changing industrial landscape driven by future mobility technologies.
This initiative is a subprogram of the national project, “Establishment of Demonstration Infrastructure for High-Strength, High-Thermal Conductivity Lightweight Materials and Component Development,” jointly promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and Incheon Metropolitan City. The program aims to support small and medium-sized automotive parts manufacturers in transitioning toward next-generation vehicle technologies such as electric vehicles and autonomous driving.
For 2024, four companies—OCSmaterials, Heatsol, HTM Korea, and Hongsworks—have been selected to participate.
Incheon Technopark will provide tailored consulting services based on each company’s technological maturity and business readiness.
The consulting will be conducted through November by Dana Patent & Law Firm, an MOTIE-designated technology brokerage institution specializing in R&D planning and commercialization. The program includes corporate diagnostics, technology transition strategies, global market expansion planning, intellectual property strategies, and business model development.
Hongsworks, a supplier preparing to provide hydrogen fuel supply systems to Hyundai Motor Company, will receive consulting focused on strengthening foundational capabilities, including diagnosing technology transition potential and identifying new business items.
OCSmaterials, currently developing thermal interface materials for EV battery power conversion systems, will receive support focused on global market analysis and intellectual property strategy development.
Heatsol, a specialist in high-efficiency skiving-based thermal solutions, will pursue technology commercialization through consulting on patent circumvention strategies.
HTM Korea, developing flame-retardant plastics for future vehicles, will benefit from support in building export and commercialization strategies.

An official from Incheon Technopark stated,
"We aim to actively support Incheon-based companies in securing technological competitiveness amid the fast-changing automotive industry. Through well-defined technology transition strategies, patent planning, and commercialization support, we will help companies achieve tangible results."
